Why I Love What I Do

ow It Started: Learning The Craft
Starting out in Hong Kong, I began my Salesforce consulting career at PwC. There, I learned the ropes of strategic problem-solving and complex, large-scale project delivery – often with global exposure. I used to be that one person in the room who raised my hand way too enthusiastically for any overseas project. I was excited to explore the world and gain new perspectives. So when opportunities came up, I jumped at them.
That adventurous spirit took me far. I spent over a year across cities around the world – Singapore, Shanghai, Munich, Paris, and Lisbon – diving into different cultures, teams, and ways of working. Travel has always energized me, and business travel gave it a whole new meaning. It became a way to grow, both professionally and personally.

inding My Place: A New Chapter in Vancouver
In 2020, I visited Vancouver for what was meant to be a short trip – but I quickly fell in love with the city. Something about the mix of nature and culture, the friendliness, and the energy here made it feel like the right place to build a new chapter. So I decided to stay.
Soon after, I continued my journey with two Salesforce-dedicated consulting partners: Traction on Demand and Gerent, through which I gained extensive hands-on knowledge and skills with the platform. Soon after, I found myself in the world of managed services.
I immediately fell in love with managed services because the pace and variety presented a constant flow of challenges. I love diving into new organizations, untangling years of technical debt, and diagnosing inherited bugs. I find it deeply satisfying to take a complicated puzzle with pieces missing and evolve it into a structured, complete picture. Beyond the technical wins, what matters the most is the trust built with my clients. When they know they can rely on me without stress or second-guessing, that’s when I know I’ve truly succeeded as their partner.

xploring New Path: Going Solo
In 2024, I ventured forward and became an independent contractor. This new step allows me to have more ownership over my work while still collaborating with teams and contributing to impactful projects that I’m passionate about. I’m excited to keep growing in this space and continuously create value for clients through strategic, reliable, and scalable Salesforce solutions.
